The hardtop pictured is available for an additional 1500 euros. From the 1st owner who described the car as follows: I bought the Alfa Spider as a holiday car on April 16, 1991, so it is now over 32 ½ years old. At the time on the advice of a client (I am an RA) of mine, an expert in the field of classic cars because the Spider model had just come out (I had to wait exactly 9 months for it) and he had me buy it new because it has a lot of luggage space. The counter was at 169,688 on December 1, 2023. No one else has driven it except my wife and I. It has also completely become my holiday car, bought to use for trips through Europe and we have done a lot of that together. Use. My wife and I have crossed almost Europe, from Sagres in Portugal, the Noorderkring in Finland, Krakow in Poland, Athens in Greece to Gibraltar in Spain, but in the past most often by car train (when it still ran) to Spain to visit family, as well as in Italy! September 2022 to Sicily via the Ferry from Genoa! Preferably never on the highway, sometimes not on the return trip home! Always long trips, no short rides, except what was necessary to keep the Alfa moving during the standstill period! I have made reports of all our trips (available for inspection!). Equipment and maintenance. The Alfa with red fixed hood, garage cover and luggage rack. Never had any trouble on the road except once in France (2021 Bourges), the fuse for the radiator cooling was loose and the Alfa garage there sent me away, I just had to go home without stopping. Over the past 15 years, the owner of my garage (Ruton in Reeuwijk) has kept a close eye on the car at my request and carried out maintenance. Actually only that at the MOT inspection; because my odometer had broken down, that resulted in a comment from the RDW. Last year he did replace the cardan shaft, as the only major "repair". He and his people are available as a source for verification. Maintenance invoices from the last 10 years are, together with some photos of the Alfa and also of its place in our garage at home, where it has always stood! Motive. The reason for selling (besides my age of 78 now) is that my wife (now almost 80 years old) no longer wants / can no longer handle this way of holiday travel. For me too, the Alfa has now become a lot, not the driving itself, but we have three cars to park in my garage. (see also the photos). We have lived in our house with garage in Reeuwijk for more than 50 years, where the Alfa has always been since the purchase.
