MODEL HISTORY

The Ferrari FF (standing for “Ferrari Four”, four seats and four-wheel drive) is a grand tourer which was presented by the Italian automobile manufacturer on March 1, 2011 at the Geneva Motor Show. Launched as a successor to the 612 Scaglietti, the shooting-brake bodied FF was designed to be Ferrari’s first truly everyday supercar and in doing so caught the attention of the world.

Ferrari really broke the mould with this car introducing their first production four-wheel drive system, engineered to be around 50% lighter than a conventional system to provide exceptional grip and stability without compromising the handling of the car.

Inside the cabin is equally impressive. By engineering their own 4WD system Ferrari were able to create a luxurious space with ample room in the rear for 2 adults and most importantly a vast 450-litre boot.

At the time of its introduction the FF also had the largest road-going Ferrari engine ever produced. With a top speed of 208 mph and a 0-62 mph time of just 3.7 seconds Ferrari stated that the FF was the world’s fastest four-seat car upon its release to the public.

The base model FF started at £227,000 and ran in production from 2011–2016, in this time just 2,291 cars were manufactured before being replaced by the Ferrari GTC4 Lusso.

EXTERIOR
This ever-popular Ferrari FF is presented in the fabulous finish of Grigio Ferro – an ‘Extracampionario’ special historical colour that featured on the 1966 275 GTB4. There are no marks, chips or scuffs across the cars surface – just a deep glossy coat of pristine paint which has been perfectly preserved by front end PPF.

A 4 wheel drive 2 door ‘Shooting-Brake’ with 4 seats seemed absurd upon its announcement but Maranello’s design flair and experience made it work. A long wheel base car with elegant curves and defined lines provides a silhouette that portrays a balance of power and grace like only the Italians can produce.

The sheer scale of the sculpted bonnet and rear diffuser allude to the significant performance potential of the FF; a culmination of form and function that survives as one of Ferrari’s most beautiful recent designs.

INTERIOR

Finished in Cuoio Tan Leather with Beige Chiaro stitching the interior specification works beautifully with the Grigio coachwork to create a well considered colourway. The seats present in immaculate condition, showing no signs of wear, whilst black alcantara works on the roof lining and pillars amongst some black leather and carbon fibre details. Condition is excellent and a testament to the care and attention the car has had over it’s life.

Comfortable, luxurious, fast and practical Ferrari produced a car that ticks all the boxes. Not only comfortably seating 4 adults without compromise, a huge 450l boot can fit a full luggage set – or even a bike with the seats folded down.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION.

At the time of its introduction the FF had the largest road-going Ferrari engine ever produced. The 6.3L direct injection V12 fires into life with the press of a button and sounds absolutely glorious amplified by a Novitec Exhaust system. Developing a stratospheric 651 BHP, 0-62mph is dispatched in just 3.7 seconds and will push beyond 200mph.

Producing one of the fastest GT cars in the world was no easy task with Ferrari’s expertise truly tested to make the FF a usable super car and thus the decision was made to utilise a 4 wheel drive system; a first for Ferrari and one they developed from scratch. Their revolutionary system cut weight of a traditional set up by a staggering 50% – ensuring the cars performance and handling could be utilised in all conditions.

With 10 main dealer service stamps in its service book, the last of which was carried in December of 2024, the performance and mechanical integrity are as sharp and reliable as Ferrari intended.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES.

Optional 20″ Forged Diamond wheels suit the long wheelbase perfectly; both complimenting the grey bodywork and filling those arches to provide a low and aggressive stance. They sit in perfect condition free from any unsightly chips or scuffs and are wrapped in premium Michelin Pilot Sport 4s tyres all showing plenty of tread depth.

The Carbon Ceramic Brakes are a necessity on the FF – providing incredible and consistent stopping power.
