1500cc. This red Lotus Super Seven S2 has been with its present owner for 22 years, and comes with a large history file. It has its original chassis, and is powered by a 1500 Cosworth Pre-Crossflow engine with dry sump conversion, upgraded radiator, electronic ignition, Kenlowe fan, unleaded head and Evans coolant.
The Lotus has been professionally maintained, and resprayed in its original colour. The vendor has driven it around 1000 miles per year, mainly to shows and social events, but his advancing years is now restricting its use. The odometer reads 83,239 miles and the latest V5C is present in the vendor's name.
The paperwork includes a large collection if invoices, old tax discs, MoTs from 1998 to 2018 and various letters relating to the car's history. A letter from the Lotus Seven Register confirms that this car left the factory on 23rd March 1962, and was first sold to a buyer near Manchester.
